Tap and Talk, Glasgow

Tap and Talk LogoTap and Talk, Glasgow, is a support group for adults with aphasia after a stroke. We aim to help with the use of iPads.

These devices can help when communicating by giving access to images, speech output of written text and communication programs such email and web browsers.

This group is set up with the help of the Tap and Talk group in Dundee (funded by SCVO) and now support by CHSS. Please come back to the page for updates on the development!

What are we doing:

We meet regularly at Townhead Village Hall (New Venue!) for Group Sessions. During these sessions we will learn about the use of our touch screen device. We will practice using different programs on the device which help with communication.

When:

We are planning to meet in general on the last Monday (new day!) of a month, 1:00pm – 3:00pm (Sometimes we will have to meet on other days).

The next meeting is planned for:

  • Monday, 29 August 2016, 1:00pm – 3:00pm.

Please send me a short email if you are interested in attending (see contact details below).
